The cave progresses from a cool green portal draped with irridescent fern flags that leads through the muslin partition to the darker, deeper wing shaded depth to the double helix snake with golden wings.

“Love the ferns!! We are at that stage of design time. Do you see them in the entry shade area? I do like the hanging effect. Fabric, plastic? what are you thinking? I have the parachute taken apart and partly reassembled as a rectangle. It is a lovely green that will partly cover the shade cloth. Next layer back will be the burlap. I’m thinking of painting it all black with perhaps a cooler lighter color sprayed on the outside. I just don’t know how hot the black is going to make the interior. It is porous so the air will move. I have alot of black ripstop nylon to cut out shadow shapes for the walls of the deepest part of the cave. Any suggestions for creatures other than snakes. There will be a prominent pair of serpents on the back wall/door that has the old raven wings as well. I am getting very excited to see this cave.” Ellen
